Sometimes good things must come to an end..

As most people around here already know, our ramp had it's final day of resting on our store roof yesterday. Fortunately, the ramp was able to find itself an amazing home with the good people of the Ojai Skatepark.

Mike Franklin Benefit

Last month, friend of the workshop and ramp ripper Mike "Owen" Franklin suffered a really bad motorcycle accident fracturing his neck and suffering brain trauma.

There will be an upcoming fundraising event Sunday, April 25th from 1 pm - 4 pm at the Santa Clarita Skatepark. There will be raffles, auctions, skate contests, etc. Several pros are expected to attend. Come out and show your support! Mike was in the hospital for 27 days and had numerous surgeries. He is currently doing much better resting at home. Mike did not have insurance and is now facing a huge amount of medical bills and the cost of physical therapy. Any donations are graciously accepted.

Cirlce-A has their day

Josh Mattson and Brad Mcclain no longer ride for Circle-A skateboards, but they were representing hard the last time they stopped by the AWS ramp.
